With its standard Active Front Assist, the Audi Q6 e-tron is better at preventing collisions with pedestrians than the Genesis Electrified GV70, according to the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety:

The Q6 e-tron has a standard Secondary Collision Brake Assist, which automatically applies the brakes in the event of a crash to help prevent secondary collisions and prevent further injuries. The Electrified GV70 doesn’t offer a post collision braking system: in the event of a collision that triggers the airbags, more collisions are possible without the protection of airbags that may have already deployed.

Earlier warning of stopped traffic, traffic signals, dangerous road conditions, weather, or accidents, can keep driver's safer and prevent crashes. The Q6 e-tron has Car-to-X Services, a system that seamlessly communicates important warnings to the driver about impending danger, if they're available. The Electrified GV70 doesn’t offer a system that can receive automated systems from infrastructure or other vehicles.

The Audi Q6 e-tron offers an optional Top View Cameras and it also offers an optional rear camera washer to make backing always safe, regardless of road dirt or grime, while the Genesis Electrified GV70 doesn’t offer a camera washer, requiring manual cleaning.

Both the Q6 e-tron and the Electrified GV70 have standard driver and passenger frontal airbags, front side-impact airbags, side-impact head airbags, front seatbelt pretensioners, height adjustable front shoulder belts, four-wheel antilock brakes, traction control, electronic stability systems to prevent skidding, crash mitigating brakes, daytime running lights, lane departure warning systems, blind spot warning systems, rearview cameras, rear cross-path warning, driver alert monitors and available around view monitors.

Side impacts caused 23% of all road fatalities in 2018, down from 29% in 2003, when the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety introduced its side barrier test. In order to continue improving vehicle safety, the IIHS has started using a more severe side impact test: 37 MPH (up from 31 MPH), with a 4180-pound barrier (up from 3300 pounds). The results of this newly developed test demonstrates that the Audi Q6 e-tron is safer than the Electrified GV70:

The Q6 e-tron’s corrosion warranty is 5 years longer than the Electrified GV70’s (12 vs. 7 years).

There are over 41 percent more Audi dealers than there are Genesis dealers, which makes it easier should you ever need service under the Q6 e-tron’s warranty.

From surveys of all its subscribers, Consumer Reports’ March 2025 Auto Issue reports that Audi vehicles are more reliable than Genesis vehicles. Consumer Reports ranks Audi 7 places higher in reliability than Genesis.

The Q6 e-tron Premium Quattro’s optional electric motors produces 115 lbs.-ft. more torque (631 vs. 516) than the Electrified GV70’s electric motors. The SQ6 e-tron Premium’s standard electric motors produces 26 more horsepower (509 vs. 483) and 115 lbs.-ft. more torque (631 vs. 516) than the Electrified GV70’s electric motors.

On the EPA test cycle the Q6 e-tron gets better mileage than the Electrified GV70:

For better traction and acceleration, the Q6 e-tron has larger standard rear tires than the Electrified GV70 (255/55R19 vs. 235/55R19). The Q6 e-tron’s optional rear tires are larger than the largest rear tires available on the Electrified GV70 (285/45R20 vs. 265/45R20).

The Q6 e-tron SQ6’s optional 285/40R21 rear tires provide better handling because they have a lower 40 series profile (height to width ratio) that provides a stiffer sidewall than the Electrified GV70 AWD Advanced/Prestige’s 45 series tires.

For better ride, handling and brake cooling the Q6 e-tron SQ6 offers optional 21-inch wheels. The Electrified GV70’s largest wheels are only 20-inches.

Changing a flat tire near traffic can be dangerous and inconvenient. The run-flat tires available on the Q6 e-tron can be driven up to 50 miles without any air pressure, allowing you to drive to a service station for a repair. The Electrified GV70 doesn’t offer run-flat tires.

The Q6 e-tron Prestige/SQ6 has a standard automatic front and rear load leveling suspension to keep ride height level with a heavy load or when towing. The Q6 e-tron’s height leveling suspension allows the driver to raise ride height for better off-road clearance and then lower it again for easier entering and exiting and better on-road handling. The Electrified GV70 doesn’t offer a load leveling suspension.

The Q6 e-tron has vehicle speed sensitive variable-assist power steering, for low-effort parking, better control at highway speeds and during hard cornering, and a better feel of the road. The Electrified GV70 doesn’t offer variable-assist power steering.

The SQ6 e-tron Prestige handles at .91 G’s, while the Electrified GV70 Prestige pulls only .83 G’s of cornering force in a Motor Trend skidpad test.

The SQ6 e-tron Prestige executes Motor Trend’s “Figure Eight” maneuver 1.6 seconds quicker than the Electrified GV70 Prestige (24.7 seconds @ .8 average G’s vs. 26.3 seconds @ .74 average G’s).

The Q6 e-tron has .1 inches more rear headroom and .8 inches more rear legroom than the Electrified GV70.

The Q6 e-tron has a much larger cargo volume with its rear seat up than the Electrified GV70 with its rear seat up (30.2 vs. 28.7 cubic feet). The Q6 e-tron has a much larger cargo volume with its rear seat folded than the Electrified GV70 with its rear seat folded (60.2 vs. 56.5 cubic feet).

The Q6 e-tron’s standard towing capacity is much higher than the Electrified GV70’s (4409 vs. 3500 pounds).

If the windows are left open on the Q6 e-tron the driver can close them all at the outside door handle. On a hot day the driver can lower the windows at the outside door handle or from a distance using the keyless remote. The driver of the Electrified GV70 can only close the windows from inside the vehicle, with the ignition on.

Heated windshield washer nozzles are standard on the Q6 e-tron to prevent washer fluid and nozzles from freezing and help continue to keep the windshield clear in sub-freezing temperatures. The Electrified GV70 doesn’t offer heated windshield washer nozzles.

In poor weather, headlights can lose their effectiveness as grime builds up on their lenses. This can reduce visibility without the driver realizing. The Q6 e-tron SQ6/Prestige has standard headlight washers to keep headlight output high. The Electrified GV70 doesn’t offer headlight washers.

The Audi Q6 e-tron has power folding mirrors that offer unparalleled convenience while maneuvering in tight places or parked. With the mirrors folded it’s easier to walk past and help prevent parking damage. The mirrors can be quickly unfolded when the driver is ready to leave. Power folding mirrors are only offered on the Electrified GV70 Advanced/Prestige.

The Q6 e-tron is available in both rear-wheel drive and four-wheel drive configurations. The Electrified GV70 doesn’t offer a two-wheel drive configuration.
